Throughout this full-day private tour, we will visit the impressive monuments and the amazing landscapes of the legendary Kingdom of the Mallos, one of the most interesting territories in Aragón.
The first stop of this private tour will be the Collegiate Church of Bolea, considered as one of the most beautiful temples in Huesca province thanks to its collection of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque altarpieces and paintings.
Next stop, the impressive Castle of Loarre, considered as the best Romanesque fortress in Europe. We will discover its history, its curious features, we will have a walk around its majestic walls, we will enter the fortress and we will go up the imposing towers. Of course, we will also enjoy the amazing views from this castle built at a height of more than 1000 metres.
Following the course of the Gállego river and its wonderful landscapes we will arrive in Villalangua, a quiet village where you will taste the traditional gastronomy in a cosy restaurant located in a 19th century house and surrounded by the calm of the nature.
After lunch, we will go towards Agüero. Near this picturesque village we will visit the enigmatic church of “Santiago de Agüero”, a Romanesque treasure built almost 900 years ago which hides many mysterious and curious features. One of the most interesting examples of Romanesque architecture in Aragón.
Last stop, Riglos and its majestic “Mallos”. These amazing and huge masses of conglomerate stone are one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Aragón and one of the most important sanctuaries of climbing in whole Spain. We will discover the origin and the legends of this unforgettable place.
